SUPPLY LISTS
Every student is responsible for bringing their own supplies to class. Some supplies are personal supplies while others are shared with the classroom such as tissues or dry erase markers. Supply lists are created by grade level. Click the link below to see which supplies your student will need. Please bring classroom supplies to the meet the teacher event to drop off.

New School Schedule
For the 2024-25 school year, Freedom Classical Academy is moving to a four-day school week! School will be from 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. There are some variances throughout the school year when students will need to attend school on Friday, so please be sure to keep an eye on the school calendar.
Students in grades 3-5 will now have two teachers instead of one. One teacher will cover Language Arts while the other covers everything else. By specializing, teachers can focus their limited planning time on fewer lessons resulting in better instruction. This model has been in place in the middle school since we opened and has had fantastic results. We are excited to see how much more students in grades 3-5 will learn with this new, more focused format.
Student Pick Up and Drop Off
-
Grades K-2 drop off and pick up in front of the school
-
Grades 3-8 drop off and pick up behind the school

School Lunches
For the 24-25 school year, we will operate our NSLP program under normal operations. This means the Universal Free Meals Program that allowed each student to receive one free meal, regardless of eligibility, will no longer be available. This was a State Program that is not being continued.
Lunch for students will be $4.00 per meal. There will be a max charge limit on student accounts of $30 at any given time and must be paid before the end of the current school year. Please complete the lunch application to qualify for free/reduced lunch. If a family qualifies for reduced lunch then it will be $0.40 per meal. The application also assists the school and families to receive other benefits and grants beyond lunch. Step by step instructions are attached.
New for this school year, we will be operating a Share Table for students (please see attached information). Additionally, attached is information regarding summer EBT payments for 2024 to families that qualify.

After login, select: More, Meal Benefits, Meal Benefits Application.
Note: New students, please wait until the first week on campus to obtain a login.

Who is my kids teacher?
Teacher assignments are active in Infinite Campus. All you have to do is log into the Parent Portal and you can see your child's schedule. If you are new to FCA, you may need help from the front office to access the parent portal. They are available Monday - Thursday 8am to 3pm next week and they will also be available at Meet the Teacher.
Can I change teachers?
At this time, we are not accepting teacher change requests. We spend a LOT of time balancing classes based on a number of factors. Making changes prematurely causes a lot of chaos. After a few weeks of school, changes will be made only with administrative approval.
